Cons

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 is largely the same experience that previous years offered, but it continues to provide some of the most authentic moment-to-moment experiences you'll find in a football game. That authenticity extends both to how your players feel out on the field as well as how the other teams respond to your actions. Good reflexes are essential for success in PES 2011, but good positioning, strategy, and an understanding of your teammates' strengths and weaknesses is just as crucial.

But in the showdown between PES and its main rival FIFA, FIFA is clearly the better looking game. That doesn't mean that Pro Evolution Soccer is a slouch in that department. The characters don't bear the likenesses of the game's biggest players or feature the most cutting edge facial recognition technology, but the menus are sleekly designed and offer a polished but accessible way to navigate.

Chances are that you'll be spending a lot of time in the menus too. Because while PES may be missing the authenticity of some major licenses, they've worked hard to facilitate an experience that feels authentic to the game. Master League is the franchise management mode for PES, and it doesn't come with the wealth of microtransactions that plague FIFA. Instead, you're given control over every little detail of team management - from training regimens to recruitment to budgeting. That gives you a wealth of ways to customize your team, but it also creates an experience that falls comfortably between a football sim and a more traditional soccer game.

PES 2011 allows you to play Pro Evolution Soccer.

When you want to play Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2011 on your Android tablet or smartphone, this is the app for you. It allows you to play the game and choose all of the players.

As one of the better sports games made available on Android, it gets you right into the action. The graphics are great and depending on the device, the game loads very quickly.

The one downside is that it's not multiplayer, so you can't play with your friends. It does feature five levels, though, so the fun continues for a while.
